We've started collecting some ground samples in the midst of the repair work. The compound is astounding. Organic. Hard but not brittle. "Transparent" but also light emitting. It seemingly has a life of it's own. In the midst of the repair work it seems to have self-healing adaptive properties. It warrants further research, but the mission comes first.
I'm also noticing some irrigation canals that have dried up. I'll see if I can get some water to flow again.
